I am a fiction writer based in Somerville, Mass. I was born in Beijing, moved to the U.S. at age five and have lived on both U.S. coasts and in various parts of Africa and Asia. My work has appeared or is forthcoming in Story, ZYZZYVA, American Short Fiction Online, The Dudley Review, Waccamaw, The Holborn, and two anthologies, While We’re Here (Earnshaw Books), and Six Senses of Art (Peter Lang). I am the inaugural Holden Residency Scholar at the MFA Program for Writers at Warren Wilson College and have received scholarships to the New York State Summer Writers Institute and Boston-based Grubstreet writing program. Sometimes I publish under Courtney Han. Stay in touch on Instagram and Twitter.
